The China Dog is a play about the sisters Das and Des and the china dog. While Das and Des are torn between compulsive suicide attempts and frenetically polishing possessions, the Porcelain dog tries teach them the value of taking care of one self. The first performance of the show was at Dramalabbet, 2007. Directed by Nora Nilsson. With: Louise Löwenberg, Eva Johansson, Carl-Johan Béve.

"The Porcelain Dog is an enigma, open for different interpretations/readings. Iris Smeds restrains from the poetic language and lets the text become a preposterous tragedy about making oneself unretainable. The piece is just a little slice, a scratch of life terror that the trio of actors manage well." Extract of Lars Ring's review. Published: July 28 2007.
